The emergence of online platforms as a space for discourse presents an opportunity to examine how mental health issues within this context are portrayed, discussed, and perceived. Throughout this paper I will be discussing my project, beginning first with explaining my research in my literature review. I will discuss what we already know about stress causing mental health issues within the world of sports, as well as the reasoning behind why there is a stigma associated with this topic, and I will also provide information about the account in which I analyzed. I have shifted my goal of this project from looking to see if this account has a positive impact on people, to looking at the personal experiences and feeling people are commenting about. I am going to go deeper into a discussion about how this account is helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health within college athletics.  Here is some of the data I have begun analyzing. This is not all of it, just some comments from one post, but this is how I will be organizing the comments from all 5 of the posts I will collect data from.
